Topographic Surveys are necessary to clearly outline a property's natural and man-made features (slopes, roads, trees, utility lines).  When new buildings, residences  or other structures are being planned, it is important to have an accurate base map.  Topographic Surveys help designers avoid setbacks by giving them the information they need to create usable spaces that avoid or incorporate property features.
